    Donating / Fundraising Support

The Coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on the charity fundraising events we would normally hold at our Talbot House Support Centre building. So we ask if possible for you to make a donation to us to help us through this difficult period.  We understand these are difficult times for many of us so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    You can donate to us using our Just Giving website below;

Thank you for supporting Talbot House, your donation will help change the lives of our parents and carers.

You can make a single donation by going to our Just Giving website above, or sending a cheque made payable to Talbot House or calling us on 0161 203 4095.

    Regular Donations

Making a regular donation (also known as a direct debit) to Talbot House helps us plan for the future as we can predict part of our income every month.

By donating just £3 a month (the equivalent of 10p a day) you could pay for 5 carers lunches or 3 one-to-one sessions with one of our support workers with change to spare.

To set up a regular donation you can click here, email or call us on 0161 203 4095.

    Donate in Memory

Create a lasting tribute to your loved one:

Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a positive and generous way of commemorating a life.  Your support at this difficult time will help us to continue our vital work supporting the families of people with learning disabilities in Manchester.

You may want to collect donations at a funeral, give a donation, set up a regular direct debit or hold an event at a day special to you or your loved one.

For more information please call us on 0161 203 4095 or email

    Supporting Talbot House

Here are some examples of what your donation might pay for:

    ·        £7 - one carer's lunch.  Once a month we host a lunch for carers to get together and relax over a buffet meal.

    ·        £10 - one pampering session.  Most carers don't get any time to treat themselves so we offer them a nail bar and massage therapies to boost their wellbeing.

    ·        £21 - day trip out for carers.  Some carers haven't been away for over 20 years.  We organise day trips so they can get away together and enjoy themselves for a day.

    ·        £40 - appeals and tribunal support for benefits.

    ·        £118 - ten sessions of one to one support with one of our support workers.
