Good morning to you all.
Shall we have a little bit of fun about the world of benefits? Well first of all there is a tidal wave of people changing over to Universal Credit, why? Because the powers that be are saying ” we are giving you the right amount of money to encourage you into work. ” What!!! First this change has to be done online, not got a computer. OH, WHAT A SHAME. Never mind you can do this over the phone. Can’t understand what the person on the other end is telling you. OH, WHAT A SHAME. Never mind you can call in the local job centre and if they have the time and you have an appointment you can do this there. Can’t get to the job centre. OH,WHAT A SHAME. Never mind if you know about them you can ring the C.A.B. and request an advocate, this can also take time and understanding. OH, WHAT A SHAME You can ask someone who may be able to help you. Don’t know anyone? OH, WHAT A SHAME You can request a home visit but only in exceptional circumstances. Find out what do they class as exceptional circumstances? Shame. Well folks there can be an adviser on the other end who actually gives their personal advice BIG BIG SHAME. (this has happened) so after all this and if you are still wanting to claim Universal Credit then I suggest you start before pension age. Talk again soon. Bernie .
